Rescue Me

If you haven't heard about Rescue Beauty Lounge nail polish then consider yourself informed. The company produces so many envious colors that it's hard to choose which to wear first. The light blue above, Bikini Bottom, is from a collection dedicated to Sponge Bob Square Pants that also includes a Square Pants yellow and Starfish Patrick coral. The purple that is pictured here is part of a polish fanatic's dream- RBL gave three nail polish bloggers the chance to create the one color they were dying to paint on their nails. The creator of All Lacquered Up came up with this mesmerizing purple called Mismas. Though we haven't been invited to create our own color, we are more than content to pick from Rescue Beauty Lounge's palette!

Marc My Words

Our main squeeze, Mr. Marc Jacobs himself, has come up with yet another way to put a smile on our face and not bankrupt us. First, he created Marc by Marc Jacobs and now comes Don't Miss the Mark. This bridge line stars the ghostly Miss Marc and with all clothing under $200 and accessories priced $100 and below it's certainly recession friendly. I am particularly taken with these Don't Fret My Pet bangles, they remind me a lot of Jessica Kagan's worded bracelets and I can't wait to pick mine up at the Marc by Marc store. Fret no more!

Spotted: Leopard

The classic Yves Saint Laurent Tribute platform sandal has arrived for Fall 2009 in none other than leopard print. What better way to add some excitement (and an extra 5 inches of height) to your step then with a touch animal print? Fierce!

Hello Moto

Though I can most certainly appreciate an incredible pair of heels I leave the actual wearing of said footwear to my counterpart, Caroline. That being said I am always on the look out for new interesting flats that can carry me through the day. When the Barney's fall catalogue arrived a couple of weeks ago I was immediately drawn to this Balenciaga pair ($545) that allows their famous Motorcycle bags to pound the pavement, literally.

What a Stud

As seen on Alexander Wang's Fall '09 runway, the Coco Duffel ($895) is bound to be on the arms of every aspiring fashionista that can get their hands on one. The stud bottom takes this basic barrel shape to a more punk place and is a much needed change from your LV Speedy. Though it is sold out in black almost everywhere online Shopbop just added this exclusive denim blue version, so snatch it up while you can and rock on.

Made in the Shade

Once upon a time Kaiser Karl made a limited run of Two Tone sunglasses with lenses split in half, part dark and part clear (as seen on one of the Olsen's). I have been fascinated with this look awhile now and couldn't quite decide if it was too severe to pull off. Well there is no need to ponder this dilemma any longer because Cynthia Rowley came up with a perfect compromise for Resort '10, a two tone frame! I am partial to the Black and Aqua frames, but will unfortunately have to spend my summer dreaming about them on the beach until Resort season.

The Fashion Bible in All It's Glory on the Silver Screen

If you haven't already heard about the September Issue (the movie has been creating a buzz in the fashion industry for months now) then you must not be as devoted an Anna Wintour fan as we here at My Man Marc are. The movie takes you inside the Vogue offices as well as into the awe inducing life of the infamous bob haircut and blacked out sunglasses. We can't agree more with the tag line "Fashion is a Religion. This is the Bible." Forget The Devil Wears Prada, this is the real deal and I have no doubt that Anna will deliver!

Go Matte!

Matte nail polish is all the rage this fall. Shown here in Liberty, mint green is the color of the moment. For those of you who prefer shiny nails, Knock Out's nail polish let's you switch from flat to shiny in a flash. With just a quick buff of the top coat, shine on!

Summer is for Schoolboys

I have been looking for a great fitting schoolboy blazer for awhile now. This one from the Gap is great with gold buttons and at $98 doesn't break the bank.
