Make a Wish

As we enter into 2010 there are so many things to hope for, and I love to keep that optimism with me wherever I go. That is why I love these Dogeared 100 Good Wishes bracelets complete with 100 beads to represent the things you will need most in the new year, from compassion and luck, to hope and integrity. The bracelets come in a variety of colors with either bronze or silver beads, so tie one on and make a wish for 2010.

Linked In

Elke Kramer's Pet Keepwatch bracelet is inspired by the childhood toys of yesteryear. I think that the link pattern of this resin number is reminiscent of a watch band. Either way, this chic bracelet is sure to have you linked in.

Rubber Band

Though summer is over, surely any hipster who spent theirs on the island of Nantucket returned wearing a stack of these on their wrist. The recycled bracelets by Made with Love in Brazil raise funds for L'Empire des Enfants, a school for homeless children in Darkar, Senegal. So add an eco-friendly pop of color to your wrist, while supporting a good cause and join the rubber band.

Set and Spike

I can't help but think you would jingle everywhere you went wearing this Ben Amun pewter spike bracelet. Regardless, this bracelet does a great job of being both tough and feminine/elegant at the same time. It also is available in a mixed gold and silver combination, but I prefer the silver. This bracelet will certainly have you set and spike for the win.

Hooked

Right now I am surrounded by boats, boating, and fisherman, that is why this Giles & Brother bracelet caught my eye. The brass and grey leather combination are unusual and stand out, while I love that it wraps around your wrist for an edgier look. This is one bracelet that is sure to get you hooked and reel you in.

Bang Bang Bangle

This summer no matter how hot it gets, fashionistas everywhere have been seen rocking bangles practically up to their elbows. Most are unique and remind me of the friendship bracelets from yesteryear, each tell a story about their hip owner. Well these Mercedes Salazar bangles (featured in Teen Vogue) stacked together in sets look awesome, are hand woven in Tuchin, Colombia, and are made with satin thread and sterling silver. So stack them high because these aren't you're little sisters friendship bracelets.

Marc My Words

Our main squeeze, Mr. Marc Jacobs himself, has come up with yet another way to put a smile on our face and not bankrupt us. First, he created Marc by Marc Jacobs and now comes Don't Miss the Mark. This bridge line stars the ghostly Miss Marc and with all clothing under $200 and accessories priced $100 and below it's certainly recession friendly. I am particularly taken with these Don't Fret My Pet bangles, they remind me a lot of Jessica Kagan's worded bracelets and I can't wait to pick mine up at the Marc by Marc store. Fret no more!
