Fade to Grey

Typically, I have a tendency to stick with straight up super skinny blue jeans. That all may change with J Brand's ombre fade pencil leg in Stellar Twill. These pants have been sported on the street by Rachel Bilson and needless to say they are an eye-catching pant. So perhaps it is time to veer from the traditional blue jean and fade to grey.

The Jegging

In one of the smartest moves this holiday season, J. Crew has begun offering a few select pieces from their sister store, Madewell, online. Though I have been hesitant to embrace jegging trend, the traditional 5 pocket styling of this Madewell pair may be enough to call me a convert.

Short Story

Girl searches high and low for jorts. Girl spies Madewell's Boyfriend Shorts at their SoHo store. Even with the impending fall girl can't find her size, so she orders them via phone. Island mail is so slow, girl doesn't receive shorts for over a month. They arrive and girl falls in love. That's the story of my hunt for jorts and my new Madewell Boyfriend shorts, which I love even though I am almost always adverse to buying things pre-distressed. The denim is so soft, a great wash, and the fit is incredibly slouchy and comfortable. Madewell also does denim collaborations with ShopBop from time to time so check them out. The End.
