One thing a couple of designers from NYFW have been toying with is the idea of being able purchase items fresh off the runway instead of waiting months until fall rolls around. I love this idea of instant gratification because when I see something I like, I want it NOW! A good gingham check always seems to remind me of a picnic table cloth, even if it is not in red. Yet, I am always a bit jealous when I see men wearing gingham oxfords and wish that their was a tailored version for myself. Luckily J. Plaid has been everywhere this fall and will most certainly stick around well into winter.
