Animal Instincts

Surface to Air's Animal Print Wedges manage to combine two things that I love right now, leopard print and lots of buckles. I first noticed them when a solid pair, they also come in black and grey, showed up on woman featured in The Satorialist's Burberry Art of the Trench campaign. These shoes are a sure fire way to bring out your animal instincts come holiday season, when you will need to be on full alert shopping for the family.

Dark Knight

Tory Burch's satin Mairin Pump is simply put, a fierce shoe. I love that the back zipper is black because a lot of times matching the gold or silver hardware on accessories can be tricky. This shoe is one dark knight that is sure to ride in and save your wardrobe's day.

Total Package

Every so often, a company that has steadily been producing incredible accessories makes the leap into apparel. Sometimes this foray is a complete and utter letdown, while others take the challenge and soar. One case of success is Loeffler Randall, who has been making awe inspiring shoes for seasons now. Just recently they added clothing to the mix, and I am not one for buying a total outfit from the same designer but this Triangle Fold Blouse and Layered Skirt combination is certainly something to drool over. So you may soon see me in head to toe Loeffler Randall, but not to worry, it's the total package.

Maximillion

These Maxine sandals by Charlotte Olympia made me gasp when I first laid eyes on them. They have purple suede on the top with a tassel at the zipper, and metallic fuschia leather on the platform and heels. When paired with a neutral toned outfit these shoes can definitely make you stand out and feel like Maximillion.

Steel Toe

When I saw Sea of Shoes, Jane Aldridge, post about shopping for fall Proenza Schouler shoes, I was blown away. She tried on a similar if not the same style as those posted above, but ended up going with a lace up bootie. The triple platform, wood, white, and black, is so fresh and the gold tipped cap just the right amount of va va voom. So be tough and rock a capped toe shoe this fall.

Step Up

After a trip to Scandinavia, I became obsessed with their unreasonably good looking, well dressed hipsters. One of the other things I got hooked on was the amazing Swedish brand, Acne Jeans. From their Pop Chinos to their recent collaboration with Lanvin making luxury denim dresses and jackets, this company has continued to raise it's style quota with age. I love these leather booties with suede covered heel. They have a side zip, and also remind me a bit of the Marc Jacobs shoes where the heel emerged from the sole and was parallel to the ground. Either way, they are certainly fierce and a step above the rest.

Grey Scale

We have to say that Mary-Kate and Ashley's first foray into shoes for their Elizabeth and James line has been nothing short of a success. These Elizabeth and James wedges were seen in black on Taylor Momson earlier this summer. The grey version of these elastic wedges are now available from Intermix and they also have a zipper up the back. Perhaps this winter it's ok to be a bit grey.

Twinkle Toes

With Fall breathing chills down our spines, there is one thing we are thankful for.... The return of Gossip Girl! These Kate Spade heels, complete with sequins and a big bow, totally look like something Blair Waldorf would wear and we love it. So now that it's fall grab a pair of glistening shoes to add a little twinkle to your step.

Hot Stepper

These metallic oxford flats by Pour la Victorie are sure to put some spring in your step. The flats remind me of something the King of Pop, MJ himself would wear, and menswear inspired oxfords are so hip for fall. So snag yourself a pair of jazzy shoes and hit the streets.

Ride that Pony

These riding boots from Juicy Couture are a far cry from the company's terry cloth jump suits that they became famous for and we are thankful. They have elastic insets which will ensure that whatever pair of pants you want to tuck into them, be it skinny or otherwise won't have to be swapped out because they can't be crammed in at the ankle. Also available in black, and a hot pink lining to boot makes me want to jump on that fall footwear train and ride away.

Shoes with Soul

I'm really liking TOMS neutral burlap shoes. With every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. Slip on these cool kicks knowing you are helping change the world, one pair of shoes at a time.

Goose with the Golden Egg

These boots from Golden Goose are so incredible and rich looking that it's hard not to drool. They have a metal stirrup at the heel, pull on, and come in a variety of colors from brown to grey to an awesome black leather and suede combination. They will have you saying, "Daddy I want a Golden Goose now."

Blue Suede Shoes

Shopbop exclusively has these Jeffery Campbell open toe pumps. They come in black as well, but I like the blue which would work great for the end of the summer and awesome with tights come fall. "You can do anything, just lay off my blue suede shoes." Elvis would be proud.

Cinderelly Cinderelly

Perfection in a shoe. I am pretty sure these would fit me perfectly, therefore I need them in my life. So sparkly, so pretty! Paired with a little cocktail dress, these shoes will work magic all on their own. Christian Louboutin's autumn/winter 2009 line certainly does not disappoint.

Knock On Wood

Loeffler Randall just launched their new website and online store today, which means you can pick up all of their amazing clothing and signature Matilde flat boots from the comfort of your own bed. I was taken with this wood suede combination of the Esther Platform Pump it just looks so fresh! So the question is... "Wood" you?

Spotted: Leopard

The classic Yves Saint Laurent Tribute platform sandal has arrived for Fall 2009 in none other than leopard print. What better way to add some excitement (and an extra 5 inches of height) to your step then with a touch animal print? Fierce!

Hello Moto

Though I can most certainly appreciate an incredible pair of heels I leave the actual wearing of said footwear to my counterpart, Caroline. That being said I am always on the look out for new interesting flats that can carry me through the day. When the Barney's fall catalogue arrived a couple of weeks ago I was immediately drawn to this Balenciaga pair ($545) that allows their famous Motorcycle bags to pound the pavement, literally.
