We have to say that Mary-Kate and Ashley's first foray into shoes for their Elizabeth and James line has been nothing short of a success. These Elizabeth and James wedges were seen in black on Taylor Momson earlier this summer. The grey version of these elastic wedges are now available from Intermix and they also have a zipper up the back. Perhaps this winter it's ok to be a bit grey.

Bold Curves
I struggle taking out my winter coats every season because that means the temperature is dropping and summer is coming to an end. Yet, somehow this super bold Future Classics coat may be just the thing to pull me out of a winter blues slump. I won't lie this coat is certainly not for everyone and I am not even positive that I could pull off that much volume around my hips, but I can't help but think how cool it could look on the right person. So perhaps this winter it is time to dare to be bold.

Drive Me Wild
My hands usually get cold walking outside in the city during the winter, yet I always simply thrust my hands into my pockets. When inevitably I have to reach into my bag to search for something or answer the phone, my poor digits are left exposed to the bitter cold. Perhaps not any more with these Tory Burch leopard print driving gloves. They are most certainly a far cry from your mom's knitted mittens and oh so chic, they may just drive you wild.

Champagne Wishes
The saying champagne wishes and caviar dreams most certainly applies with this flashy Sally Tseng blazer, in champagne no less. Blazers are coming in all shapes and sizes for fall, but this gold one is a sure way to guarantee that you stand out in the crowd. Perfect for a night out on the town, toasting the bubbly.

Collaboration Nation: Norma Kamali
For our second installment of Collaboration Nation, we focus on Norma Kamali's little known WalMart collection. When it launched this past summer, it garnered rave reviews from fashion editors across the board, hailing the incredible quality and even better price. Though I was unable to get this Batwing cardigan the first time around, it seems that WalMart has recently replenished their stock for fall and I promptly ordered one. There is simply no beating the price and to top it off shipping was only .97 cents! I kind of doubted that WalMart could bring style to the mass market, but with this collaboration they are well on their way.
Block Party
If you watched Monday's episode of Gossip Girl, than you most certainly saw Blair wearing this great Diane von Furstenberg top to a Roof Top Rager. Though she was humiliated by not being able to fit in with an NYU crowd, this Upper East Sider could not be made fun of for her wardrobe. This top looked great on Blair paired with lemon lime colored shorts, but would look great with jeans this winter. Get ready to rock the block.
Short Story
Girl searches high and low for jorts. Girl spies Madewell's Boyfriend Shorts at their SoHo store. Even with the impending fall girl can't find her size, so she orders them via phone. Island mail is so slow, girl doesn't receive shorts for over a month. They arrive and girl falls in love. That's the story of my hunt for jorts and my new Madewell Boyfriend shorts, which I love even though I am almost always adverse to buying things pre-distressed. The denim is so soft, a great wash, and the fit is incredibly slouchy and comfortable. Madewell also does denim collaborations with ShopBop from time to time so check them out. The End.

Twinkle Toes
With Fall breathing chills down our spines, there is one thing we are thankful for.... The return of Gossip Girl! These Kate Spade heels, complete with sequins and a big bow, totally look like something Blair Waldorf would wear and we love it. So now that it's fall grab a pair of glistening shoes to add a little twinkle to your step.

Collaboration Nation: Christopher Kane
There are so many great collaborations out there that I have decided to start chronicling them in a new piece that we at MMM would like to call Collaboration Nation. Let's start with Christopher Kane's collection for TopShop which launched yesterday. Though I am not a girl for lace, the combination of the metal eyelets, black color, and cutouts, make this dress fresh. Most of the collections pieces are already sold out online, including the Crocodile print dress and tee shirt, which are an extension of the Gorilla dress that Kane made a couple of seasons ago. Check out the entire collection at TopShop now.

First in Flight
This jacket by one of my favorites, 3.1 Phillip Lim, does an incredible job of marrying a vintage look and feel, with that new coat smell. Leather jackets are sure to stick around through fall into winter, and this one's rabbit fur collar is something I would want pulled up around my neck during those cold snaps. Though I don't necessarily advocate wearing fur, sometimes you just have to go with what the designer has chosen. One thing is for sure though this sure isn't your father's bomber jacket.
Hooked
Right now I am surrounded by boats, boating, and fisherman, that is why this Giles & Brother bracelet caught my eye. The brass and grey leather combination are unusual and stand out, while I love that it wraps around your wrist for an edgier look. This is one bracelet that is sure to get you hooked and reel you in.

Seeing Green
This jaw dropping quilted lame mini-skirt by the inspired Rodarte is guaranteed to get you noticed in a crowd this fall. This piece is so amazing it makes me drool and also even more anxious for the Rodarte for Target collaboration to hit stores on December 20. Though your eyes may be seeing green, your wallet may not, but have no fear you will still look fabulous.

Tough Girl
Recently, I can't help but think that I have seen a lot of two or three fingered rings popping up, though I have yet to see anyone actually wearing one. This ring from Surface to Air comes in a number of variations, from two or three fingered rings, to including your middle and pointer or middle and forth fingers. Decisions, decisions. They remind me a lot of brass knuckles, which may ensure no one will cross you. All your friends will certainly think you are a tough girl.

Jade Jagger
Ah the day I have been waiting for, since Chanel's Jade nail polish walked their fall runway, has finally arrived. Today, I got an e-mail proclaiming that the Jade polish is now available online and was released in stores this past Thursday during Fashion's Night Out. So order your bottle of the Jade stunner now because it is sure to sell out fast.

Spot Changer
Oh my goodness, could this bag have more things we love all rolled into one? I think not, or at least you would have to try very hard to top it. From the leopard print, to purplish pink, and fringe! Jerome Dreyfuss sure knows what we love. But wait, there's more, the pink flap and fringe zip and snap off to create a totally different bag with handy pouch. This is one leopard bag that most certainly can change it's spots.

Perfect Plaid
Lumberjack plaids will be seen everywhere this fall, but Fei combats that with this more refined version. The blue, purple, and green plaid is very soothing, while the buttoned back is a lovely touch that adds some interest to the shirt. So button up this perfect plaid and brace yourself for winter.

It's a Cinch
Waist cinching belts have become a wardrobe staple of mine that have the ability to transform any dress into a new look. Our man Marc has made another winner with this red waist belt from his Marc by Marc line. Skinny belts are great but wide ones make a statement, and this one is sure to carry you all the way through winter.

Rational Dressing
This top by Society for Rational Dress with leather strap at the back is just so different. I love the paint stroke look that the blue and white print gives off, but the flutter of the sleeves in the back then bunched together is so interesting it couldn't help but catch my eye. Forget dressing rational, this is down right dressing fabulous.

Labor Day Libations
The final days of summer. How could this be? Summer seems to slip away more quickly every passing year. Anyway, Labor Day weekend is the perfect finale to the sunny season as well as an excuse to throw an unforgettable cocktail party. Make the most of this weekend enjoying the sunshine poolside with this week's classy cocktail, which is aptly named The Last Summer Friday. This beverage is best sipped slowly while basking under the sun. Cheers!
The Last Summer Friday
1 1/2 oz. Bombay Sapphire Gin
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz. lavender syrup
3 fresh, muddled strawberries
3 oz. club soda
1 lemon wedge
1 strawberry slice
Squeeze half a lemon into a tall glass, add lavender syrup, and gin. Stir and fill with ice. Top with club soda, and garnish with a lemon wedge and a strawberry slice.

I Wish I May, I Wish I Might
I was immediately drawn to these colorful Brazilian wish bracelets since spotting them in Rio a few years ago. The Brazilian wrist candy has a 200 year old tradition of spiritual significance, originating in Bahia, Brazil and have been spotted on the wrists of globe trotters and celebrities alike. The bracelets are to be tied in three knots, and with each knot, a wish is to be made. Once your bracelet falls off naturally, your wishes are believed to come true. So go ahead and try your luck tying the knot!

Strong Shoulder
Bold shoulders have been popping up everywhere this summer and were ever present in fall collections. Rihanna has even been seen rocking the look in tuxedo type form, and anything RiRi sports is awesome in our book! This dress by Alice + Olivia fits the bill with strong shoulder accents that you most certainly won't have to brush dirt off of.

Acid Trip
If I had my way everyone would punch up their winter wardrobes with super bright accessories. This Givenchy Padded Nightingale tote does just that in Acid Yellow, and the stitching detail gives it even more edge. Roomy enough to store your extra pair of mittens and scarf, but also bright enough to chase those winter blues away this is certainly one bag that will get you noticed in a sea of dark winter coats strolling down the street.
